The Rouge Espresso Experience

At Rouge we are incredibly passionate about good coffee. Some call it an obsession. Whichever way you look at it, we’ve gone to great lengths to bring you really, really good espresso.

Coffee for Rouge is roasted for us by Mike at Essenza Coffee, who does a fantastic job of creating all the delicious flavours we love in each and every roast. Our blend is made up of 100% Fair Trade beans from Nicaragua, Colombia, Uganda and Ethiopia, and roasted just on medium-dark for us by Mike.

The blend is designed to have all the richness of flavour that we desire, and a heavy, creamy mouthfeel, but without any of the nasty bitterness or astringency. We dislike the bitterness enough ourselves, let alone the idea of inflicting it on our customers!

Supplied with the best quality beans, our baristas are also armed with some of the most cutting-edge equipment to make sure we can consistently give you the best espresso experience.
